Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer and fashion model. Following his fame-making roles in Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow the actor was featured in over 20 feature films including The Core. He also has appeared on more than 22 series, like Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma from the time he was 14 years old. Two years after treatment the cancer has gone into the process of remission. The body of his was greatly affected by the treatment and the development of his body was slow down. Since he grew up in the poverty of his home, he longed to achieve financial stability. In the wake of living in poverty over the years, I must have this financial safety. In the absence of it, everything seems beyond my reach. He also looks back at his youth and hopes to address the issue of bullies. DJ states "Cruelty breaks the heart of my soul." In real life and on the screen, DJ could love to play the role of a father. The director admits that they aren't able to put DJ in such characters. For the foreseeable future, he hopes to become father to children.
